Managing Director Tim Ferris has over 45 years’ experience in the industry and has been a prominent figure in the local property market throughout his career, providing him with unrivalled knowledge.

In his free time Tim is passionate about his small-holding, keeping sheep, pigs, chickens and most recently three calves. The head of a large family, Tim is a passionate family man. Tim also has a long-standing association with the Bearsted Round Table where he is involved in supporting the local community through a variety of fundraising activities.

Senior Sales Progressor

Theresa has worked for Ferris & Co for 15 years and has gained invaluable experience during this time. Theresa was promoted to senior sales progressor in 2021, taking overall responsibility for all sales with Ferris & Co working with a small team of colleagues, giving our clients clear and concise appraisals of the selling process from the inception of a sale to completion.

The process can be stressful and her calm demeanour is a perfect trait for this challenging role. Theresa is a highly valued member of staff and diligent worker, popular with clients and work colleagues alike.

In her spare time, Theresa likes socialising with friends and family and country walks with her two dogs, Nellie & Peggy.

Sales Progressor and Negotiator

Moira is our longest serving member of the team having worked for Ferris & Co for over 25 years. Her knowledge of the local market is unsurpassed. Her experience spans over both the sales & lettings teams and is known for her diligent work ethic, working alongside Theresa with sales progression. Moira enjoys an outdoor life, in particular walking her dog Fraser with her friends. Moira also loves to read, especially crime novels and is also a local resident of the Penenden Heath area.

Karen is the latest member to join the sales team at Penenden Heath as a Senior Sales Negotiator. Born and bred in Maidstone, having excellent knowledge of the local area, with over 15 years experience in local estate agency, throughout this time she has covered all areas, including sales negotiating, sales progressing, maintaining a high level of customer service.

Karen enjoys spending time with her family and walking her 2 Jack Russells, Milo & Molly, and also enjoys travelling.

Although Tim has not been involved in Estate Agency for long, he was from 1976 up to 2022 involved in conveyancing as a qualified Legal Executive in the residential sector having worked for several local Solicitors and in London. Obviously during that time, he had connections with other bodies which were part of the conveyancing process including Estate Agents especially Ferris and Co where he acted for many Clients of the Company.

Tim assists in showing our potential buyers around properties we have for sale and is involved in the negotiating of transactions. He really enjoys meeting with people and with his many years in the legal profession can help them through the ups and downs of moving house. He is able to help them prepare and take them through the various steps concisely with the aim to lead them to a successful sale or purchase.

Tim has been involved in local church and leadership especially pastoral care. He enjoys sport and food although perhaps the two do not go together as his love for sport is more watching than participating! He is married and has two grown up children who are also both involved in retail.

Sam has recently joined Ferris having spent 20 years in the property industry in the Maidstone and surrounding area. Has worked in both an Independent and Corporate environments gaining invaluable sales experience along with management skills. Sam has lived and worked in the Maidstone area for many years and has recently purchased a cottage with her family which she is currently renovating.

Louise joined Ferris & Co in June 2022 and has great enthusiasm and prides herself on finding the right house for prospective buyers.

Loving all things property related, Louise has been involved in all aspects of estate agency including all administrative duties, escorting viewing appointments and is now extending her role by creating floor plans. Also heading up our social media pages and working hard to ensure our properties are being promoted effectively and keeping our followers up to date.

Louise also brings experience from the legal profession, having worked in Financial Services & the Financial Marketing sector for several years in central London.

Louise is not a Maidstone native, she was born and raised in Bexleyheath, moving here in 2020! She has two young children and a Golden Retriever who all keep her very busy outside of work! She loves spending time with her family and friends, and watching a good documentary!

Justine has worked for Ferris & Co for over 22 years and has a wealth of experience of the lettings market and is excellent leader who is revered by her team and landlords alike. Justine conducts letting valuations, instructs properties on the market and provides her clients with expert advice.

Justine grew up in Bearsted, and her grandfather was president of Bearsted Football club. She has fond memories of keeping score for Bearsted Cricket club as a youngster and watching her brother as they played matches on the Green. Today, Justine is also a proud mother of her two children.

Frances has been with us for over 15 years and has experience in almost every department of our business. Today, Frances is one of our top negotiators and an expert in compliance. She is known around the office for her excellent communication skills and zealous attitude to all things property. Frances loves natural photography, particularly capturing birds around the country in their natural habitats.

Jonathan has worked with Ferris & Co for 7 years, initially as an inventory clerk and now heads the maintenance department., His wealth of experience which together with his calm demeanour is a great asset to the company. We are delighted with his work and the smooth running of his department. His hobbies revolve around trips to London, keeping fit and looking after his family.

Joe has joined the lettings team and previously worked within our sales office at Penenden Heath. Joe’s Job role is to carry out all the opening / closing Inventories, along with visiting all properties to conduct the 6 monthly inspections. Socially Joe enjoys sport, playing football being one of his greatest loves, he also plays squash at club level and spending time with his friends
